 Very neat...but worth the price?? February 1, 2010

If you're a hardcore SW addict then these are a neat item!
They light up, work well and do the job. However, for the
price I have a hard time justifying them...my kids would
sooner use the ones that come with the DS and these just
sit in their cases. Based on price for use, they just
don't serve the purpose for us.

I love things that light up and thought the idea of a light up stylus for the DS was a wonderful idea for my kids when they are sitting in the backseat of the car at night playing...but these things are just too fragile. The colored tip breaks off of the silver base where the light is and you can't glue it back and expect it to stay. They both broke within just a few days of use. Yes, you can use just the colored tip as a stylus once it breaks, but it won't light up...so what's the point? I wish they were designed better because the light up idea is awesome and come on people...it's a light saber, how much cooler can ya get?!? But way too fragile for the price :-(

these things are *huge*. you will not be able to carry these around with you when traveling since they are so big and bulky. it would make it awkward to take with you on the go. however, at home (or a place where you will spend a lot of time), these things shine (pun intended). worth it for the entertainment factor alone.

I got these for my nephew's birthday along with the Star Wars Lego game for his DS. He thought the light saber stylus was soooo cool. Then, when he discovered that the light up, he thought it was the greatest thing ever! This is a great gift for a little Star Wars/Nintendo DS lover!
