 Great protection for your games July 29, 2010

I've been on the lookout for a product like this for a while to protect my games and it does the job perfectly. The outer plastic is rigid, though easily scratched and protects games adequately. The snapping mechanism for holding the cartridges keeps them in tight. I was using a very small box to keep the games and this is easily the most portable solution I've yet seen. In addition to protection, it serves as a great display for games.

There were game cards everywhere in the house just waiting to be lost! Now my son has a place to keep them safely. It holds 16 game cards which is just right for now. I'll by a second one (actually, he will with his allowance) as he accumulates more games. The case seems well made (for a piece of plastic).

My Son thoroughly enjoys this item. Compact, easy to travel with, carries every cartridge he has. I have a very happy son.

The case is sturdy. My son dropped the thing a bunch of times before the outer case cracked and the game "pages" started falling out. This was a big problem because he would then lose the pages and 8 games along with them. Another problem is that it is separate from all his other DS stuff. I wound up buying a bigger soft case for all of his DS gear so we didn't have to scurry around before leaving the house to find his DS, his charger, and then his games.
I haven't gotten the new case yet, but hopefully it will alleviate the need to scramble all over the house to find his games before leaving.
For protection, the case is great. For ease of getting out of the house, the case is horrible. I recommend one big case for all the gear to fit in, just one thing to grab and go.

This is a great case, even for $15+ and finding it at this price is an awesome deal. It holds your games snugly, with no give whatsoever. The case may pop open if dropped onto a hard surface, but it keeps the game cartridges held very tightly. The games are held in by using the same sort of mechanism that DS cases use to hold games. Simply push the cartridge on one side and pull up to get the games out and do the opposite to put them in. Overall, a very great product and a very great buy.
