The nylon tips of these Nintendo DS styli are much rougher than the original, and they come off the pink stylus body very easily. That poses a choking issue for younger kids which I find unacceptable. I superglued the tips in the stylus body, but the danger of scratching your screen persists.
Honestly, even though these are cheap, they are not worth your money. Get the originals.

Cheap price and exactly what I expected from Nintendo and since it was a third party vendor much, much less expensive. My kids keep losing them. I need to tie a string to them like they do with pens at the bank.

I purchased a package of these stylus to have extras on hand. I've taken one out and gave it some use. I matched one up to the stylus that came with my DS Lite, same size. I used one playing a Sudoku game, had no problem with these stylus doing the job they were invented to do. They write my answers clearly with no problems with the DS Lite understanding what I'm writing. Although I have never used other stylus besides these and the one in my DS Lite, I find them comparable in the way they feel. No bending or flexibility when in use, to find these flimsy. The company's "CTA" logo is imprinted on one end of the stylus but that doesn't seem to be an issue to me.
I happened to purchase a pink Dura Case for my DS Lite unit in pink. When it arrived, I found that these pink stylus' match the pink in the Dura Case. It turned into one of those little add nice touches. It presents a nice look as one stores their DS and games for protection against scratches and possible travel.
I find these stylus' are just fine in my opinion. Since they are like pencils and pens, they are going to get used/worn and one may get lost by the wayside from time to time. These would be good replacements, as they do what they were invented and designed to do with no problems.

The Stylus that came with my DS Lite kept falling out. These new stylus' are great and do not fall out.

This stylus does fit the DS Lite--it's inexpensive, which is good because of course it's just as easily lost as the original. My granddaughter loved the pink color.
